What is the Rusticana™ font?
Rusticana was designed in 1992 by Adrian Frutiger for Linotype’s Type Before Gutenberg series. Rusticana is based on very early Roman inscriptions, which were in turn based on earlier Greek forms.
Use Rusticana frugally in display work that requires elegance and refinement: books, magazines, journals, invitations, broadsides.
